Applied to the quote above, with the aim to acquaint the first-year students with the atmosphere of Thames International College, The Office of Students Affairs, Thames International College organized a session namely- Alumni Session. The session was held online which featured a BBA Alumni of Thames, Mr. Mijash Chitrakar.
Mr.Mijash Chitrakar graduated with a BBA degree from Thames International College in 2018. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the School of Management, Tribhuvan University. Mr.Chitrakar has taken several leadership roles at and beyond Thames. At Thames, he was the President of IT Club, during which his team collaborated with the Management Club to launch the first Business Gabfest. He was also part of the 6th SAARC Business Conclave. In 2019, he became the youngest local chapter president of JCI, through JCI Patan, a youth-led organization. He has been involved in JCI for over 6 years, is currently serving as the General Legal Counselor, and is also an official trainer for the organization.
The session was held on January 29th, 2021. The informal and interactive session gave insights into Chitrakars’ college journey and how Thames has catapulted into his career and personal growth. The session was filled with pieces of advice on how to make the academic phase at Thames unforgettable. “Play hard but Study Harder,” says Mr. Chitrakar The session concealed Mr. Chitrakar’s inclusive college journey, his professional and academic experiences, and how Thames College has contributed to building his network and breed to his personal and professional growth.
