The Office of Student Affairs works with all aspects of students’ lives at Thames and collaborates with students, staff members, faculty, alumni, parents and other agencies to support the students and provide them with the best services we can offer. The programs, services and facilities that Office of Student Affairs offers its students equip them with the necessary aptitude, knowledge and skills to succeed at Thames, and in life.

The Office of Student Affairs is committed to enabling the students to be a part of and contribute to a participatory, inter disciplinary and active learning environment during their time at Thames. The Office complements the College’s vision to be a premier academic institution in the nation and also works to enhance the quality of life of its students, both in and outside the classroom.

Office of Student Affairs supports the college mission and purposes by providing support and resources for the orientation, transition, retention and completion for Thames students, so that they may be prepared both personally and professionally throughout their university experience and into their careers.


Student Organizations

Student Council of Thames International College provides an integrated experience for students across the campus and offers a variety of clubs and organizations to enrich your college life experience. You will also have the ability to enhance your academic program through representation in student council.

Social responsibility is an integral part of our core values. You will be provided with many community service opportunities including volunteering in social organizations, fundraising campaigns, rural camps and awareness campaign on various social issues.


Elective Courses

The Office of Student Affairs offers you many opportunities to learn and explore new things that otherwise cannot be learnt in the academic courses. The courses offered in the past include, Patan 101: The Heritage Walk, Creating that Perfect Presentation, I can Speak, Critical Thinking for Global Challenges, Creating a Business Plan, Thinkshop for lifelong learners and many more.


Community Service

Social responsibility is an integral part of our core values. You will be provided with many community service opportunities including volunteering in social organizations, fundraising campaigns, rural camps and awareness campaign on various social issues.


Foreign Language

Learning foreign language will sensitize you to the world cultures and at the same time make you aware of your own culture. The Office of Student Affairs in collaboration with its partner institutions offers you French and Chinese languages.
