Rajendra Man Sherchan Chairman Mr. Rajendra Man Sherchan is a Chairman of Thames International College . He is also currently serving as a Director at Salt Trading Corporation and Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited.In his four decades of fulfilling career, he has led many different organizations. He was a Chairman of Nepal Vegetable Ghee Industries, Director of Salt Trading Corporation, Gorakhkali Rubber Industry, National Finance Company, Nepal Industrial Development Corporation, Khadya Udhyog and Janakpur Cigarette Factory.He also served as a president of Federation of Contractor’s Association of Nepal, Secretary General of International of Asian and Western Pacific Contractor’s Association, and a Charter President of Rotary Club of Thamel. Sarojani Sherchan Managing Director Mrs. Sherchan has been serving as Managing Director of Thames International College since 2005. She is also a Promoter and Director at Nepal Paper Crafts and Mahi Enterprises. Currently she is a Board Member of Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN) and Executive Committee Member of SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC).Mrs. Sherchan was the Chairperson of the first Women’s Committee at Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) and Treasurer of Association of St. Mary’s Alumni Association (ASMAN).A firm believer in the empowerment of women through her social and entrepreneurial activities, Mrs. Sherchan believes in providing skills to empower women who lack formal education and women who have spare time at home by providing them with the necessary ability to be able to earn a living wage and have an important role in society. Ayush Man Sherchan Director – Operations & Business Development Mr. Sherchan holds an MBA degree from Hult International Business School, London. He is also a Certified Trainer of Micro Finance. Prior to joining Thames International College, he was Relationship Manager at Bank of Kathmandu Ltd where he played a crucial role in setting up the Development Credit Unit which was the first successful initiative of commercial banks in Nepal to provide quality financial services to marginalized groups and poorer sections of society. Sujan Kayastha Director Mr. Kayastha completed his undergraduate degree with dual major in International Relations and Management from Webster University, St. Louis. He further pursued his graduate studies in International Non-Governmental Organizations from Regents College, London. He is currently Director at Thames International College. Mr. Kayastha manages the academic team at Thames and provides leadership for all academic activities in the undergraduate program. Rubina Awale Associate Director Office of Student Affairs and AdmissionsRubina Awale graduated from Thames International College in Bachelor of Social Work and Rural Development and holds a post-graduate diploma in Counseling Psychology from Tribhuvan University. She is tasked with managing student support services, provide academic counseling, and oversee admissions. At Thames, she has also been taking lead in various projects like Chairman’s Initiative in Climate Change which is in line with the institution’s commitment to community service. Prior to joining Thames, she was involved in various mental health and development projects. Arpan Upadhyaya Associate Director School of Business and TechnologyArpan Upadhyaya is a passionate educationist and truly believes in providing holistic education to prepare students for a global career. Prior to joining Thames, he was a director of the business program at Kathmandu Model College. He has been involved in academia in many different capacities since 2015. He completed his MBA from the prestigious Symbiosis International University, Pune, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from the same university. He is primarily responsible to oversee communication with the university, student registration, roster management, examination management, academic grades management, and the college library.As a graduate of Information Management, he has been continuously working to digitize administration at Thames. Shekhar Risal Associate Director Office of Finance and LogisticsShekhar Risal provides leadership to both finance and logistics teams. He not only makes sure the financial health of the institution is at its best but also oversees procurement, payroll, campus security, cleaning, and maintenance.
