Sip and Paints

Sip and paint is a trending concept that has been around different parts of the world with an idea to relax, sip on drinks and paint the art.

To celebrate arts and creativity at Thames, the Office of Student Affairs along with Kriye Club organized a one-day event- Sip and Paints during Art Carnival 2019 on June 11, 2019.

Sip and paint is a trending concept that has been around different parts of the world with an idea to relax, sip on drinks and paint the art. The event provided students a platform to unleash their creativity and express their feelings in the form of art through their paintings. The club provided the participants with a fresh drink to sip on and French cartridge paper along with colors, brushes and other sketch tools to paint on.

It was the first time Thames had incorporated such an event, with the objective of encouraging students and promoting creativity. The overall event turned out to be a success as many students thoroughly enjoyed the event with significant number of participations. At the end of the event the respective paintings were showcased through an art exhibition.
