Rotaract Club of Thames

Rotaract Club of Thames is a youth-led university based club lying under RI District 3292, Zone-8 which is parented by the Rotary Club of Thamel. The club was chartered on 7th March,2003. It focuses on providing a platform for young professionals to enhance the knowledge of social service through volunteerism and leadership. In addition, the club helps club members improve their abilities, which eventually aids in personal and professional growth.
The club serves as a link between the needs of the community’s impoverished members in order to foster stronger relationships and a sense of giving back to the community. Community service is one of the club’s main strengths in promoting capacity building among young professionals and involving them in volunteerism.
Along with community service and professional development the club allows the members to connect with rotaractors not only inside the college but on an international platform. Fellowship can be counted as one of the major areas of focus of the club.

Message from President

I hereby want to extend my sincerest gratitude towards Thames International College because of which I got a chance to get involved in Rotaract club. Also my appreciation goes towards the seniors in the club for always providing me guidance and support. I joined Rotaract during the year that I got enrolled at Thames. The unique features of the club which is serving the community and promoting professionalism was very intriguing and inspiring to me and that is what I wish to imprint among the members for this year as well. The theme of Rotaract for this Rota Year is “doing things awesomely” and so far the club is able to carry out the programs as per planning. In addition, our club has extended hands with other Rotaract clubs and the value of fellowship and increment in bonding is what I wish to be fulfilled among the members.
