Book Talk with Madan Krishna Shrestha

Comedian, actor, singer, and writer, Mr. Madan Krishna Shrestha is one of the most treasured entertainers in Nepal. On 9th June, Thames International College hosted a book talk with Mr. Shrestha at the David J. Rusk Library within the Thames premises. Mr. Shrestha delivered an inspiring talk on his autobiography, "MaHa ko Ma."

Madan Krishna Shrestha has been entertaining Nepali audiences since the 2030s (B.S.). He is well-known for his method of acting and for his work with his comic duo Hari Bansha Acharya.

"MaHa ko Ma" details Mr. Shrestha's life, from his childhood to his partnership with Hari Bansha Acharya. At the book talk, Mr. Shrestha reflected on his personal journey, recollecting his journey from being a student to becoming an entertainer. His recounted his initial struggles as an actor, touching on how different his acting career was from his academics. Additionally, he talked about meeting the love of his life while working in the Sanchaya Kosh, touching on his wife's battle with cancer and his own fight with Parkinson's disease.
