Welcome to the Advanced Information Technology Program, a transformative initiative designed to provide participants with a comprehensive exploration of advanced IT concepts and technologies. This cutting-edge program is crafted to offer an in-depth understanding of topics such as software development, web development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity. Emphasizing practical application, participants will engage in hands-on projects and case studies, fostering problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

The AITP course is offered by the School of Information Technology under Academic Affairs at Thames International College. Through a balanced approach of theoretical knowledge and practical application, the program seeks to cultivate participants' problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.

Mobile App Development with Flutter (30 hours)
The Mobile App Development with Flutter course is designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in Flutter development. The curriculum covers topics ranging from basic Flutter concepts to advanced widget usage, state management, database integration, network requests, and app deployment. Participants will learn to build responsive and feature-rich mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

React Bootcamp: Building and Deploying Web Apps (30 hours)
React Bootcamp: Building and Deploying Web Apps is a hands-on course crafted to provide learners with the skills to create dynamic, interactive, and responsive web applications. From mastering React fundamentals to leveraging advanced tools like Tailwind CSS and React Router, this practical training focuses on building modern interfaces and integrating APIs. By the end of the course, participants will have developed and deployed a fully functional web app, ready to showcase their expertise in real-world projects.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced IT concepts and technologies,
• Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations through practical projects,
• Navigate and implement solutions in specialized tracks such as software development, web development, mobile app development, cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, or artificial intelligence.

Program Requirements

Students will need to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours to qualify for the certificate of AITP. Upon completing each course, students will receive an individual certificate recognizing their achievement in that specific course. The courses encompassed within this program include:

• Web Applications using Node.js (3 credit hours)
• Flutter Development (3 credit hours)
• Quality Assurance (3 credit hours)
• Python with Django (3 credit hours)
• Advanced Data Science (3 credit hours)

Note: The course list will be periodically updated in response to market demand and student interest. This dynamic approach ensures that the program remains relevant and aligned with the evolving needs of both the industry and the participants.

• Interested students can register for these courses at the beginning of each semester.
• A commitment fee per course is required during registration. The commitment fee ensures your dedication to the course.
