The Curious Citizen: Social Work Month Special Edition

March is celebrated worldwide as World Social Work Month on a theme announced by the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) each year. The theme for this year is "Co-Building Hope and Harmony: A Harambee Call to Unite a Divided Society". To mark Social Work Month on this theme, School of Social Sciences and Social Work Club of Thames is collaborating to bring you a special edition of "The Curious Citizen".
 
The sessions are planned as follows:
Part I: Theater based exploration of how political tension creates distress in our body
The first part of this workshop is aimed at noticing the distress that political tension creates in our body using theatrical elements.

Part II:  Reflection and discussion
The second part of this workshop is aimed at looking at our external world to have empathy for ourselves and the others at the time of distress and difference in opinion.
