CMAT

Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted by the Faculty of Management at Tribhuvan University (TU). Each applicant of the BBA/BBM/BIM program, affiliated to Tribhuvan University, is required to appear for this test. CMAT contains one hundred (100) objective questions and has a total weight of 100 marks.

The test has four primary areas and each of these areas carry a 25% weightage. Students must secure a minimum of 40% in their CMAT, to apply for admissions to TU affiliated programs. The test includes the following:

  • Verbal Ability
  • Quantitative Ability
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Awareness

Eligibility

  • Minimum D grade in each subject with CGPA 1.8 in grade 11 and 12,
    or,
    Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 1.8 or more who completed high school in 2078 or before 2078,
  • Minimum of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline,
  • Students who have passed grade 11 and are awaiting grade 12 results can also apply. At the time of entrance, they must, however, present a certificate of completion for grade 12.

Documents Needed to Complete the CMAT Form

  • Marksheets for grades 10, 11, and 12 (Applicants can also apply for CMAT if they are awaiting grade 12 results),
  • Character certificate of grade 10,
  • Passport-size photo,
  • Rs. 1000 in cash or online
