BCA Entrance Test

The BCA Entrance Exam is conducted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, TU for students wishing to enroll in the programs under the School of Information Technology. BCA Entrance Exam contains one hundred objective questions and has a total weight of 100 marks. The test has three primary areas:

  • English Grammar - 40%
  • Mathematics - 50% 
  • General Knowledge - 10%

Eligibility

  • Minimum D grade in each subject with CGPA 1.8 in grade 11 and 12,
    or,
    Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 2.0 or more who completed high school before 2079 B.S.,
  • Minimum of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline,
    or,
    Minimum of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline who completed grade 12 before 2079 B.S.,
  • Students who have passed grade 11 and are awaiting grade 12 results can also apply. At the time of entrance, they must, however, present a certificate of completion for grade 12.

Documents Needed to Complete the BCA Entrance Form

  • Marksheets for grades 10, 11, and 12 (Applicants can also apply for BCA Entrance Exam if they are awaiting grade 12 results),
  • A copy of citizenship or birth certificate,
  • Rs. 1500 in cash or online
