From the President

Hello everyone,

My name is Sonam Chiri Sherpa, and I am the President of the IT Club for the 2025-26 year. I have always been interested in joining the IT Club since the beginning of my college year and have been engaged in various IT-related frameworks and projects. As club president, my main ambition is to provide my honest efforts and values to the best of my ability to the students. Having joined the club at the beginning of 2022, I've not only gained professional growth from my peers and colleagues, but also acquired an enjoyable and positive place to study.

So, what exactly is the IT Club, you may ask? If I have to put it simply, the IT Club serves as a center for innovation, cooperation, and development, in addition to being a club for IT aficionados. We are a part of an innovative and forward thinking community that aims to explore, learn, as well as create with the ever-evolving field of Information Technology within Thames. Whether you are a seasoned programmer, a designer, a curious learner or someone passionate about technology and its potential to change the world, this is your community to thrive.

This year, we aim to expand knowledge through workshops, seminars, coding sessions, while exploring cutting-edge technologies like AI, blockchain, and more. For the same, we encourage participation among students through projects and competitions that will enhance team building skills and collective talent.
