Program Overview

The Business Creation and Entrepreneurship Program is an experiential learning platform designed to transform students into job creators. It is ideal for students from various academic backgrounds who want to develop practical entrepreneurial skills. The program includes on mandatory 6 credit course Business Incubation Course and 6 credit elective courses. Business Incubation Course includes ideation sessions, a comprehensive bootcamp, and a business development phase, all supported by full mentoring and coaching, culminating in a final business plan presentation. It covers essential business concepts like market research, financial planning, and marketing strategies, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. Participants gain hands-on experience and receive a Certificate of Business Creation and Entrepreneurship Program upon completion, enhancing their career prospects and adaptability in the business world.

 

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of starting and running a business.
  • Navigate the entrepreneurial landscape and utilize business development tools effectively.

Program Requirements

Students will need to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours to qualify for the certificate of BCEP.

The courses encompassed within this program include:

  • Business Creation and Entrepreneurship Program (6 credit hours)

Elective Course (6 Credit Hours)

  • Digital Marketing (3 credit hours)
  • Foreign Language Course (3 credit hours)
  • Quality Assurance (3 credit hours)
  • UI/UX Design (3 credit hours)
  • Web Basics and Design Principles (3 credit hours)
  • Introduction to Programming Concepts (3 credit hours)
  • Data Analytics and Visualization (3 credit hours)

Note: The course list will be periodically updated in response to market demand and student interest. This dynamic approach ensures that the program remains relevant and aligned with the evolving needs of both the industry and the participants. 6-credit hour course will be mandatory while another 6-credit course is to be selected as per the interest of the student.

 

Certificate Eligibility

To qualify for the Business Creation and Entrepreneurship Program, students must complete at least 12 credit hours by completing a minimum of four courses. Upon completing each course, students will receive an individual certificate recognizing their achievement in that specific course.

 

Registration Process

  • Interested students can register for these courses at the beginning of each semester.
  • A commitment fee of Rs. 500 per course is required during registration. The commitment fee ensures your dedication to the course.
  • Sign the consent form to ensure your commitment to the program.
