Who Are We

Sustainability Club is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting and implementing sustainable practices at Thames. It aims to raise awareness about environmental issues, advocate for sustainable solutions, and initiate projects as well as campaigns that address areas, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, recycling, and ecological preservation. The club often collaborates with other clubs and local organizations to create a greener and more sustainable environment for all students. Thames Sustainability Club aims to offer students, faculty, and everyone alike, acceptable and suitable practices for #LifeAtThames.

Hi!

I am Sanskriti Poudel, an enthusiastic individual driven by the belief that every person possesses a unique "magic of perspective." I believe it is this diversity of thought that truly makes a difference and allows us to bring out the art in everything we do.

Our club serves as a medium to advocate for the environment. We believe that understanding the need for sustainability is crucial, and that this journey begins right where we learn. Our core mission is to cultivate an environment where students can recognize their impact and take meaningful action toward a greener future.

Looking ahead, our leadership team is focused on launching a series of workshops dedicated to the practical application of sustainability. Our goal is to move beyond theory and create a tangible impact that resonates within our community and beyond.
