Hello Thamians,

My name is Milee Shrestha, and I am the President of the Sustainability Club for the 2024-2025 school year. I'm beyond excited to embark on this green journey with all of you and have always been passionate about creating a positive environmental impact. Through this role, I have not only become more involved but also more connected with fellow students who share a vision for a greener future.

Sustainability isn't just about reducing waste or planting trees (though we'll definitely be doing that too!); it's about changing mindsets, sparking creativity, and making sustainability fun—because saving the planet shouldn't feel like a chore. With that motto, the Sustainability Club is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting and implementing eco-friendly practices at Thames. Our mission is to raise awareness about environmental issues, advocate for sustainable solutions, and initiate projects and campaigns that focus on waste reduction, energy conservation, recycling, and ecological preservation.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and we often work with other clubs and local organizations to promote a more sustainable environment for everyone. This year, get ready for exciting eco-challenges, hands-on projects, and maybe even a little friendly competition.
