The Q Initiative is a student-led movement by queer students at Thames International College, dedicated to ensuring an inclusive, respectful, and empowering college environment. With a focus on equal treatment, awareness, and celebration of queer identities, the initiative strives to create a safe space where all students—especially queer and trans individuals—can embrace their authentic selves. Grounded in values of community, care, and cultural sensitivity, The Q Initiative envisions a college where diverse identities are honored and all students feel supported in their emotional wellness, expression, and growth.
