Who Are We

Thames Theatre Club (TTC) is a vibrant community where creative minds come together to bring characters, stories, and worlds to life. With creativity, discipline, and unity at its core, TTC offers a platform for the artistic portrayal of one's reality. Our goal is to showcase art in various forms, and we pride ourselves on fostering a sense of belonging for every member.

We offer a diverse range of productions, including short skits, workshops, and full-length plays. Additionally, we encourage all members to actively participate, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge. At TTC, we push students to step outside their comfort zones, exploring their talents and discovering new facets of their abilities. It’s a great opportunity to learn from others, build confidence, and refine craft.

From the Coordinator

Greetings Theatre Enthusiast!

My name is Raman, and I am honored to serve as the Coordinator of Thames Theatre Club for the 2024-2025 tenure. Theatre, to me, is a beautiful paradox – it's both an escape and the most authentic way of being ourselves. As I write this, I reflect on my journey from being a cast member to coordinating the Club, and I am filled with deep gratitude for that experience. It has been a privilege to lead this energetic community, teaching me that theatre is not only about what happens on stage but also the magic that unfolds when diverse individuals come together, each bringing their unique talents and perspectives. Whether it is the soul-stirring melodies of our music team, the properties department breathing life into spaces, or the marketing team sharing our stories with the world, every member contributes to our collective artistic vision.

What sets our club apart is that everyone is welcome, regardless of their expertise level in any professional field. We have made a place where every individual can explore their artistic potential. Through devised productions and collaborative work, I've witnessed how theatre breaks down barriers and creates connections that go beyond the stage. Every production becomes a journey of discovery, not just about theatre, but about ourselves and each other. As a coordinator, my role isn't just about organizing productions, it's also about nurturing this safe space where we can all be authentically ourselves while creating art together. Because ultimately, that's what theatre is – a celebration.
