David J. Rusk Library
Fully cataloged and automated with more than 10,000 titles,
the David J. Rusk Library also offers International newspapers and periodicals
including the International Herald Tribune, Harvard Business Review, and The
Economist. Understanding the need for remote access to books and journal
articles, Thames also provides an e-library service where students can log in,
reserve books and grab it the next time they visit college. Our library offers
designated spaces for laptop use, group work, and silent study areas for
independent learning with PC’s and internet facilities. Along with a plethora
of books, Thames also does engaging events like book talks and a Thames
original, three-book challenge.
The college library is open for users 9 hours a day, 7am
-5pm, from Sunday to Friday.
Library
Events :
Three-book
challenge, a Thames original where students after completing each book, will
have to write a short summary of the book and get it stamped by the librarian
when the book is returned, within the deadline. The student who completes the
challenge is rewarded with their choice of book. The only criteria is that
books must be of more than 60 pages.
To establish a
reading culture at Thames, we invite reputed authors to give a first-hand
insight on the books written by them. Watch the Books Talks that happened in
our library on Our YouTube Channel!
