"Argument Among Us" is a unique event that combines the popular online game Among Us with the art of debate. The event brought together students of Thames International College to compete against each other in a thrilling match with the use of their skills.
It usually focuses on two main parts: the first part is the Among Us game competition, and the second part is the debate in the game. On Dec 29, organized by the Emcee Club of Thames, Argument Among Us started with the Among Us game, where participants played the game and tried to find the imposter. After the imposter was found, the participants moved to the second part, which is the debate.
During the debate, participants will have to argue on various topics related to the game. The topics will include the role of the imposter in the game, the best strategies to find the imposter, and the impact of the game on critical thinking skills.
Argument Among Us encourages students to develop their debating and analytical skills by creating a fun and engaging experience for them.
