The Friendship and Connection , a dedicated space for those who wish to learn more about the unique and complex nature of friendship and human connection. This event is particularly focused on the impact of support systems in a person's life and discusses the importance of support systems and how they support personal growth and emotional state.
The session was aimed at people who are ready to actively consider their social networks and assess existing friendships. One of the main aims was to support the participants to develop healthier and balanced boundaries in their relationships, shifting from passive to more proactive and sustainable social habits.
The event not only covered boundary setting it also helped participants to discover their own values with respect to their friendships. With the help of different engaging games and activities they were able to figure out and interact. They were able to map the community they had around them also realizing where they had to work on more in future. They also made something with air dry clay to gift their loved ones or keep them by themselves.
Lastly, the session invited participants to explore what they expect from their friend and support system. It offered the tools for participants to think about how they need others to show up for them, while learning how they need to show up for other people in their lives, and develop a culture of caring and reciprocity.
