Thames and UWS Nepal Collaborate on Case-Story Writing Workshop

Continuing the momentum and meaningful conversations of Nepal Social Work Symposium, the Community Service Outreach Program (CSOP) and United World Schools Nepal (UWS Nepal) jointly organized a dynamic pre-symposium event: a case-story writing workshop. Titled "From Experience to Impact: Writing Powerful Case Stories," the workshop emphasized the art of transforming lived experiences into compelling narratives that advocate for change and raise awareness.

The event began with an engaging sharing session on "Experiences of Working in Education with a Focus on Rural Areas of Nepal," where speakers reflected on the unique challenges and successes of grassroots education. This was followed by an interactive "Case Story Development" session, equipping participants with critical skills in writing, documenting, and presenting real-life stories that carry emotional weight and social relevance.

The workshop aimed to inspire students to explore how personal experiences can shape individual perspectives and evolve into powerful tools for advocacy and impact. In alignment with the upcoming symposium theme, the event highlighted the importance of intergenerational understanding and collaboration, showcasing how storytelling bridges gaps, nurtures empathy, and strengthens collective efforts for social change.

(Community Service Outreach Program (CSOP) is a vibrant platform where students are encouraged to actively participate in community service initiatives and explore creative ways to give back to society. CSOP is committed to delivering meaningful conversations and organizing impactful volunteer activities.)
