Gabfest 2025 Showcases Cross-Collaboration with Community Service Outreach Program and Student Enterprises at Biz Bazaar

Thames International College successfully concluded Thames Business Gabfest 2025, a vibrant and intellectually engaging three-day event held from May 20 to 22. Organized by the School of Business Management (SoBM) in collaboration with The Management Club, the event was themed "The Workplace Revolution: What’s Next?", and brought together students, academic leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals for a meaningful exchange of ideas and innovation.

Among the many activities lined up for the event, the highlight that truly stole the spotlight was Biz Bazaar, held on the final day of the Thames Business Gabfest. To briefly introduce, Biz Bazaar is a signature monthly event organized by the Management Club that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of students. It transforms the college premises into a vibrant marketplace, offering young entrepreneurs a valuable platform to showcase their startups, engage with peers, gain exposure, and expand their customer base.

In alignment with the spirit of entrepreneurship and embracing the theme of Gabfest, this edition of Biz Bazaar took on a unique approach. The School of Business and Management cross-collaborated with Thames Community Service Outreach Program (CSOP) to emphasize community-led initiatives.

Through this collaboration, CSOP brought in Lachhi and We Handicraft to set up stalls that featured an array of organic produce sourced from Khokana, as well as handcrafted accessories including necklaces, anklets, bracelets, and phone charms respectively. Alongside them, student entrepreneurs added to the vibrancy of the marketplace with their innovative ventures. Stalls included The Modern Muse, Soozay Crochet, Bess B, Sakura Nepal Korean Skin Care, and Blush and Charm, who displayed the richness of craft, sustainability, and ingenuity.
