On August 7, the School of Business and Management hosted a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship Development” with Glocal After School (GAS). The session gave a real-world glimpse into what it takes to build a business from understanding Nepal’s startup scene to discovering key support systems. What started as an understanding of entrepreneurship theories soon evolved into team based ideation and pitching sessions. Students were divided into groups to turn abstract knowledge into actionable insights by presenting viable business ideas.
By the end of the session, students had practiced real time pitching while strengthening their confidence, collaboration and creativity. This workshop reaffirmed Thames commitment to experiential learning, helping students see themselves as future leaders and changemakers.Students got a real taste of pitching their own business ideas, turning classroom knowledge into real entrepreneurial thinking.
