The School of Information Technology, in partnership with Thames IT Club, is gearing up for one of the highly anticipated events of the year — Hack4Sustainabilty. This month-long intra-college hackathon is designed to empower students at Thames International College to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions aligned with selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
The grand kick-off began with an orientation session on July 1, where participants were introduced to the goals, expectations, and structure of the hackathon. They also received valuable insights on sustainable development, ideation processes, and how to transform their ideas into impactful digital solutions.
Hack4Sustainability is set to be an inspiring journey of collaboration, creativity, and conscious innovation, providing students with a platform to turn their tech skills into meaningful change for a more sustainable future.
