Every small effort to understand one another helps make the world a kinder, more accepting place. In the spirit of this belief, on Nov 16; World Day for Tolerance, the Social Work Club initiated the effort to create spaces of respect, empathy, and connection. Welcoming students to be part of this journey , to join in, share, and stay in touch as students learn to live with greater understanding.
How students viewed it and what understanding they had of the word itself while taking real life examples from the world too. What one could do to enhance it as well as create a more inclusive space for all as well. The club’s purpose was to invite students to engage in conversations about how the concept works whilst giving every other human being the same right we so often claim for ourselves.
