Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) is
conducted by the Faculty of Management at
Tribhuvan University. Each applicant of BBA/BBM/BMS/BIM/BHM/
BTTM program, affiliated to Tribhuvan University, is
required to appear in this test. CMAT contains one hundred
(100) objective questions and has a total weight of 100
marks.
The test has four primary areas and each of these areas
carry a 25% weightage. Students must secure a minimum of 40%
on their the CMAT in order to apply for admissions to
Tribhuvan University programs. The test includes the
following areas:
Verbal Ability
Quantitative Ability
Logical Reasoning
General Awareness
Thames International College is currently providing CMAT
classes for students aspiring to study management courses at
Tribhuvan University at a nominal fee of Rs.3000. The CMAT
classes will be held for 2 months. The enrollment in CMAT at
Thames is on rolling basis, therefore interested students
are requested to apply for the CMAT classes as soon as
possible. Students enrolled in the CMAT classes at Thames
can access the college facilities including the David J.
Rusk Library, IT Center, Coffee Shop, and the Canteen.
ELIGIBILITY
- Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with
CGPA 1.8 or more.
- Minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or
Equivalent in any discipline.

Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for
grade 12 results can also apply. However, they have to
submit passed certificate of grade 12 at the time of
admission.
TIME FRAME
The University Preparation Program will be offered at Thames
from May through September.
