In line with the 2024 World Mental Health Day theme, Mental Health at the Workplace, Heart and Mind Hub curated a series of activities over several months to prioritize staff well-being and foster a positive work environment. The initiative began with engaging team-building sessions, including Sip & Paint and interactive games, followed by open discussions on mental health and well-being. Collaborative discussions with Thames’ management team further integrated staff feedback into actionable strategies for improvement.
Throughout the process, staff participated in reflective activities through worksheets and conversations, exploring workplace experiences and motivations.
The initiative culminated in a collaborative session where staff and management outlined practical steps to enhance communication, build a fair and respectful workplace, and foster growth, recognition, and strong team dynamics.
