Guest Session on the Impact of Technology on B2B and B2C Commerce and Trade

The School of Business and Management successfully organized a guest session on “The Impact of Technology on B2B and B2C Commerce and Trade” on Friday, 23rd January, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Auditorium. 

The session was led by Mr. Rishi Khatri, CTO & Founder of Pristine Minds Nepal Pvt. Ltd. The event was formally initiated with an introduction of the guest speaker by Pesal Sir, a faculty member of Thames International College, who highlighted Mr. Khatri’s professional background and contributions to the technology and business sector. 

During the session, Mr. Khatri shared valuable insights on how technology is transforming business operations in both B2B and B2C commerce. A major highlight of the session was the discussion on the Mulyabazar application, where he explained how the platform effectively manages stock levels, supports risk management in business, and addresses operational challenges faced by modern enterprises. He also shared real-world challenges encountered in building and scaling tech-based business solutions in Nepal. 

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and sharing their own startup ideas and entrepreneurial experiences. This exchange created a practical learning environment and encouraged students to think critically about the role of technology in business innovation. 

The program concluded with a brief networking session over tea and cookies, allowing students and the guest speaker to interact informally. Overall, the session was informative, engaging, and beneficial for students, enhancing their understanding of the practical application of technology in commerce and trade.
