On March 26, the Office of Academic Affairs organized a session featuring Mr. Padam Thakurathi, a renowned senior journalist of Nepal, widely recognized for his expertise in political affairs. A survivor of the horrific 1985 assassination attempt, Mr. Thakurathi graced the Thames premises to share his experiences and insights on politics and journalism during the Panchayat era, drawing comparisons with the present-day political landscape.

The session was thought-provoking, offering aspiring journalists in the audience valuable lessons on media houses, journalistic integrity, and the role of the press.
