In alignment with the theme of Nepal Social Work Symposium 2025, the "Social Change Organizational Showcase" brought together a diverse group of organizations committed to driving social change, action, and justice. Held on June 18 and organized collaboratively by the School of Social Sciences (SoSS) and Thames Career Development Center, the event created a dynamic platform for students to interact, network, and engage with professionals working at the forefront of social transformation.
The showcase featured organizations from various sectors—including mental health, education, environmental sustainability, and community development—offering insights into their missions, ongoing projects, and impact-driven initiatives. Students gained first-hand exposure to potential career paths, internship opportunities, and collaborative possibilities.
This organizational showcase served as a bridge between aspiring social workers, changemakers, psychologists and established professionals, promoting earnest conversations and potential mentorships.
(The School of Social Sciences (SoSS) offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs including Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work. With expert faculty and practical experiences, SoSS prepares students for meaningful careers in various fields of social service and research.)
