Thames International College successfully concluded Thames Business Gabfest 2025, a vibrant and intellectually engaging three-day event held from May 20 to 22. Organized by the School of Business Management (SoBM) in collaboration with Thames Management Club, the event was themed "The Workplace Revolution: What's Next?", and brought together students, academic leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals for a meaningful exchange of ideas and innovation.

Day 1: The Workplace Revolution–What's Next?
The fest kicked off with a powerful panel discussion featuring notable industry leaders focusing on the rapidly evolving dynamics of the modern workplace.. Panelists shared their perspectives on how technological integration, remote and hybrid work models, and shifting employee expectations are redefining traditional office environments. Day one also hosted inter-college competitions such as Ad-making Contest and Stress Interview Challenge, designed to test creativity and resilience.

Day 2: Marketing Minds
Day two shifted the focus to the dynamic world of marketing and entrepreneurship. The day began with an inspiring plenary session led by Pratik Aryal, who discussed the evolution of branding in the digital age, the power of storytelling, and the role of data in driving modern marketing strategies. The session was then followed by two high-impact competitions:

  • Business Presentation Competition – where student teams pitched original, well-researched business ideas, showcasing their strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit before a panel of judges.
  • Case Study Competition – which challenged participants to analyze and resolve real-world business dilemmas, promoting teamwork, analytical skills, and innovative problem-solving.

Day 3: Career Compass
The final day was dedicated to career exploration and professional development. A career-focused plenary session was conducted by Prayas Rajopadhyaya, who provided insights into emerging career paths, startup culture, and the future of tech-driven industries. The event concluded with a Grand Closing Ceremony, where competition winners were honored with trophies, medals, and certificates.
