Thames International College proudly congratulates esteemed alumna, Ms. Nabina Ranabhat (BBA Class of 2023), for securing a spot in the Top 20 of Acting Star Nepal 2025, which is Nepal's first-ever reality TV competition dedicated to acting. Out of more than 300 participants, Nabina has distinguished herself through her exceptional talent and dedication, rising to the Top 20 following a competitive physical audition among 70+ candidates.
The show is currently streaming on the YouTube channel OSR Reality, with new episodes airing every Wednesday and Thursday on AP1 TV. A special feature for Thames community is her introduction video, which captures the energy of the campus itself. In the video, she fondly refers to Thames as the 'home she grew in," reflecting on her personal and artistic growth during her college journey.
Nabina's passion for the performing arts began during her school days and flourished further at Thames. As an active member of Thames Theatre Club, she participated in numerous productions, contributed behind the scenes as a writer and set designer, and eventually served as the Club Coordinator in 2023/24.
Her artistic journey also extended beyond college. Nabina was part of the travelling theater team for Rachana Dahal's live musical shows and performed at the anniversary concert of Pahenlo Batti Muni, celebrating their Raako Ramita album.
